The tip falls off!
I use to have a poker that was solid...nothing screwed on; and it worked great. This poker is ok for the price but I'm going to use it as a spare and look for another solid one. I was using it and the tip came unscrewed and fell in the fire. It's good if you need it every once in a while but if you are going to use it for a lifetime don't bother.
